The domestic box office saw a steep Monday slump, with Snow White leading at $1.34M, but its -69.5% drop from Sunday spells trouble for Disney’s latest live-action remake. The film has earned $68.2M in 11 days, but weak weekday numbers suggest it may not have the legs to go the distance. The film reportedly cost $250-270 million to make.
Meanwhile, Amazon MGM’s A Working Man is proving to be a surprise contender, pulling in $1.28M on its fourth day and boasting a strong per-theater average of $392, higher than Snow White.
Captain America: Brave New World is nearing $200M domestically, though its daily earnings are slowing down. Though Dog Man continues to power along with $97.3M in 60 days, proving that family films have some staying power 🥸
That’s it for today! Until next time
